This year for Christmas I decided to do a lot of homemade gifts. I truly believe Christmas isn’t about the amount of money you spend, more so a small gift that shows someone that you were thinking of them. This year I am most excited about the gifts I created and crafted. Below is how I made this delicious Vanilla Syrup in just a few short minutes.
This Vanilla Syrup goes great with many of things. Just to name a few, coffee, tea, cappuccino, waffles, pancakes, ice cream, cocktails and more. There are only a couple of ingredients that make up this delicious recipe.
Supplies Needed
- Sugar
- Brown Sugar
- Vanilla Beans
- Water
- Pot
- Containers
How To Make This
Cut each vanilla bean into 3rds. Now get out your pot, add in your water, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla beans. Set stove temperature to a medium heat and allow the pot to get to a boil, stirring occasionally to ensure all the sugar is melted.
Once boiling, continue boiling for about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside to cool, when cool pour into your containers.
Wrap these up for family gifts or keep this for yourself. I know now that I made this for gifts, I will be making my own batch.

What Kind Of Containers Needed
I bought these cute little 2oz swing top glass bottles, to gift this Vanilla Syrup in. You could also use small 1/2 pint mason jars. Or just make one batch and store it all in one container. There are plenty of options, especially cute ones on Amazon.
There is still time to make this before Christmas. You can also get some fun containers at Hobby Lobby and Vanilla Bean at your local grocery store.

I really look forward to seeing peoples reactions when they receive these for Christmas gifts. It tastes wonderful and I look forward to seeing how people use it.
Below is the actual recipe on how I made this and how much of the ingredients are needed. Check it out, save it to your Pinterest boards for when you need a gift idea.
